Components and assemblies are often required to support forces, pressures and torques at elevated temperatures. This can be validated before physical prototypes are produced by the use of FEA. Medium complexity linear FEA of parts and assemblies can be carried out in-house, whereas advanced multiphysics non-linear analysis is outsourced to a specialist sub-contractor.
