  1. What components are suitable to be rotationally moulded?

  2. How is RM more environmentally friendly than other plastic moulding processes?

  3. Is rotational moulding cheaper than other forms of plastic moulding?

  4. How do I specify the designs for RM?

  5. Is there a minimum / maximum size of RM products you can produce?

  6. What types of plastic can you use in rotational moulding?

  7. What makes your company different from others in the rotational molding industry?

  8. Can RM be used to create SUV overhead and lower consoles?

  9. What are the advantages for using RM to create storage tanks for different liquids?

  10. What are the maximum heats that RM plastics can stand?

  11. What makes rotational moulding preferable to blow moulding?

  12. Is rotational moulding suitable for manufacturing marine plastic gas tanks?

  13. Rotational moulding is actually a very suitable process for the manufacture of fuel tanks of all types - including those for marine applications. Both diesel and petrol tanks are commonly manufactured from either LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), or XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), and for diesel applications no further processing is required.

In the case of petrol, post moulding fluorination is used to provide the barrier properties to meet permeation regulations. However, other materials may be used, either on their own or in conjunction with polyethylene (normally as an inner layer) to provide enhanced performance, such as improved heat resistance or barrier properties.

  14. What tools do you use in the rotational moulding process?

  15. What is the expected lifespan of a rotationally moulded product?

  16. What is the expected lifespan of a rotational mould tool?
